China Glaze Island Escape Collection

Continuing the summer theme I'm bringing you swatches of the China Glaze Island Escape collection.  This collection contains 3 glass fleck polishes, 2 cremes, and 1 metallic/foil.
Application was good for all of these and most only needed 2 coats for full coverage, unless noted otherwise I used 2 coats in the swatches.  I used a base of China Glaze Strong Adhesion base coat and a top coat of Seche Vite.  These photos are close to color accurate, but they are all much more vibrant in person.  My camera freaked out a bit at the brightness.

Blue Iguana:

Blue Iguana is one of the glass fleck polishes.  This one took 3 coats of polish.  I also used an extra base coat with this one of Barielle Nail Rebuilding Protein.

Papaya Punch:

Papaya Punch is the first of the 2 cremes.  It's a very bright yellow-ish orange.  Be warned with clean-up and removal however that it will cause some yellow staining, which you can see on in the following pictures.

108 Degrees:

108 Degrees is a glass-flecked fuchsia.  This one was probably the hardest to capture on camera.  Trust me it is so much brighter and richer in person.

Cha Cha Cha:

Cha Cha Cha is the metallic/foil of the collection.  See the yellow glow in the middle of the bottle?  That's exactly what it looks like on the nail.  If you don't like visible brushstrokes on your nails however, you might want to avoid this one.  Like with all metallics and foils, your brushstrokes will be very evident.

Senorita Bonita:

Senorita Bonita is a medium purple glass-fleck.  Need I say more?  Actually yes, again, this is MUCH richer and deeper in person.

Electric Pineapple:

Electric Pineapple is the second creme and most unique shade of the collection.  It's mostly yellow but with a bit of a greenish tinge.  The indoor shot shows the green better.

This is the perfect summer collection.  Lots of fun bright shades with different finishes so there's something for every mood.  There's not a bad color in the group, but my favorites are Cha Cha Cha and Papaya Punch.  I wasn't sure about Electric Pineapple when I first saw it, but on I was impressed.
