author—in advance of North’s much-anticipated new title, Season’s End, to be released in Fall of 2013.
It was all about a promise. Alec Hudson is

from Heathrow Airport just outside of London to an obscure mountain
village in Wales. And as he crosses the lush English countryside, he may yet find love, or disaster, roaming within its breathtaking landscapes.
This
powerful and heartfelt story is about grief and hope, love and loss,
and lovers struggling with the complexities of fidelity—marriage,
morality and passion—has been called a literary triumph. Written in
North’s inimitable, lyrical style, The Long Walk Home is a haunting treat; a beautiful, captivating narrative that stays with the reader long after the final page is turned.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Will
North is the international award-winning author of more than a dozen
nonfiction books, many of them ghost-written for others, including Bill
Clinton, Al Gore.
North came
to fiction late in his career and almost by accident, when an event in
his own life led to a novel—The Long Walk Home—which received
enthusiastic national reviews. Another acclaimed
novel, Water, Stone, Heart, followed the next year. Both are set in the
British countryside which has always felt like home to him. His latest
novel, Seasons’ End, is set on an island in Washington’s Puget Sound
near Seattle where he lives with his wife and their dogs and cats.
A
fourth novel, Harm None, the first in a series of murder mysteries,
will be published in early 2014. Set in the ancient and magical county
of Cornwall, England the new series features Detective Inspector Morgan
Davies and Scene of Crimes manager Calum West. The second book in that
series, Too Clever By Half, will be published in the fall of 2014.
